Your musical director for the whole day

What do I do differently? I go the extra mile for you. Everything has to be just right.

The place(s) where I stand, the timing, the volume, the sound quality, and even the background music during breaks, the degree of interaction with your guests, etc. are carefully curated by me, often on the fly.

I sense and choose what feels right at any given moment. The power of the result lies in subtlety, at exactly the right moment, with the right tone.

Your words

(about days filled with love)

  • (Jasmine and Vincent)

Sarah, wow, wow, WOW! Our guests were raving about her, and there was one clear theme that came up in everyone's positive reactions: Sarah's musical accompaniment. She played during the ceremony, provided background music during dinner, and accompanied our opening dance. It ensured that our day not only formed a beautiful whole, but also that our personality as a couple was palpable to all the guests. Let's just say that there were several (happy) tears during the songs at our ceremony and the opening dance. She really succeeded in capturing "us" with music.

  • (Kimberley and Gert-Jan)

It immediately becomes clear why Sarah is so often recommended by other suppliers. Such professionalism, yet at the same time such warm and easy communication. We felt at ease right from the very first conversation. Sarah quickly senses exactly which direction you want to go in.

  • (Josephine and Cedric)

Can we give 10 stars? Sarah provided the live music during our church wedding, the reception, and our opening dance. The preparation, the practical arrangements, and the performance were simply perfect. We received many compliments about how Sarah elevated our wedding to a higher level. She also guided us very well in our music selection. From the very first appointment, she played a few songs live in her living room, and we were immediately sold. Sarah also made demos for our opening dance so we could practice. She actively contributed ideas about which music would be suitable for which parts of the event and which setup would be ideal, and she discussed the practical details with our venue and DJ, etc. If you are unsure whether you really need someone for live music, we can only recommend that you contact Sarah: it will save you a lot of thinking and create many wonderful memories!

  • (Daan and Sofie)

We asked Sarah to perform live music at our wedding ceremony, and WOW, how beautiful it was! Every song was beautifully performed with emotion that gave us goosebumps. It was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Communication during the preparations also went very smoothly; Sarah is someone you can count on 100%. During the sing-along, she got the audience completely involved, which was wonderful to hear and see. Nothing but praise for this top singer and musician!

  • (Steven and Maartje)

Dear Sarah, thank you so much for making our day even more beautiful than we could have dreamed. Without you, the picture would not have been complete; what a voice you have, it gave us goosebumps from start to finish! And you also have a keen ear, because you played "Wicked Game" at the reception because you had noticed during the ceremony that it had a special meaning for our father. Nothing but praise for you and also for bassist Steve. Compliments rained down on you both, and rightly so! We were more than satisfied, still completely on cloud nine, slowly coming down and enjoying the afterglow! And the opening dance: the world really stood still for a moment! Thank you!

Frequently asked questions about live music at your wedding

  • You can find my favorite package and other prices here. I would love to meet you, and we'll discuss how to best arrange live music for your special day.

  • That can be done as soon as possible. Saturdays in the summer can sometimes be booked up to a year and a half in advance (or even earlier). Other days or Saturdays in the low season often remain available for a little longer. In any case, I only accept a limited number of weddings per year in order to continue to guarantee the best quality. In any case, the sooner you contact me, the more likely it is that your date will still be available. And yet, every summer I still have a Saturday or two that remain free, so be sure to take your chance, even at the last minute (I thrive on adrenaline). It's never too late to inquire, so feel free to get in touch.

  • Absolutely, we would love to. We prefer to play on our own equipment, because that works best and fastest for us and because we can rely on the best sound quality. We provide the equipment wherever it is needed and also have a wireless microphone for the ceremony speaker. When we play with our wedding band , we provide a complete PA system and our regular sound engineer. A stage and lighting system (with a light jockey if desired) are optional, but they also have a big impact on the atmosphere. The quality of the sound makes or breaks live music, so we won't settle for anything less. If you prefer to use the venue's permanent equipment or that of another partner, we are always open to discussion. Tip: we live musicians need a little more than just "a speaker with a microphone."

  • Then you've come to the right place. I've been part of countless conspiracies. From a song written especially for your ceremonyto one of you singing live as a surprise with my accompaniment, audio files secretly sent to me to play, a musical interlude accompanying the vows from one to the other, etc... The live music itself (for the ceremony, reception, and even the band at the evening party) has even been the bride's surprise for her groom on a number of occasions. Just give me a call!

  • I take care of many aspects for you, so I expect almost nothing from you in practical terms. However, precisely because I want to ensure that everything is just right when it comes to the auditory experience on your day, I do need some input and a little of your time. We dig a little deeper and I probably ask a few more questions than you expected. However, I never leave you without suggestions, tips, or even solutions; I guarantee that. Focus is one of my talents, as are administration and communication (or so I've been told), so you're in good hands.

  • I really enjoy working with wedding planners. That way, I can be sure that you as a couple are taken care of and that all my practical questions and expectations are properly coordinated. Working with people who have that experience is wonderful as a wedding team!
